Why I started PlayWell
Sports and recreation bring people together in a way few things can.
Every week, families show up to fields, gyms, courts, parks, races, and recreation spaces ready to participate. Behind every game or activity are coaches, volunteers, organizers, parents, and community members doing their best to make it all happen.
I started PlayWell because I believe the support around that participation deserves just as much attention.
There should be useful resources nearby. People should have a better idea of how to prepare. And when the activity is happening, organizations should have practical ways to add support around the people already doing the work.
PlayWell was created to help make that easier.

Through our partnership with Players Philanthropy Fund, the PlayWell Community Access Program expands PlayWell services to underserved communities.
We add support, not replace what's already working.
PlayWell adds practical readiness resources and onsite support around the people, plans, and professional resources already in place. PlayWell is not an EMS provider, a clinic, or a replacement for an organization's required athletic training or medical programs, and does not make return-to-play decisions.
